Empowering Public Administration: Lissi Partners with the University of Applied Science Harz for EUDI Wallet Integration

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Hochschule Harz as part of the "CyberSecurity-Verbund Land Sachsen-Anhalt II - Identity, Access and Trust Management/Infrastructure" project. This collaboration aims to explore how the public administration can prepare for and embrace EUDI Wallets, supporting both their acceptance and the implementation of critical use cases.

As a leader in identity management research, Hochschule Harz will leverage Lissi’s EUDI Wallet Connector to gain deeper insights into the technical and organizational requirements for public sector adoption. This work will serve as a foundation to help municipalities and other public institutions effectively interact with EUDI Wallets and implement practical applications.

Key use cases under exploration include:

  • PID derivation and verification: Streamlining identification processes.
  • Issuance and acceptance of credentials: Providing official documents such as residence certificates.
  • Academic credentials: Issuing university-related certifications.

This three-year project will play a pivotal role in preparing public administrations for the upcoming digital identity transformation driven by the eIDAS regulation. Together, we aim to create solutions that enable secure, efficient, and citizen-friendly interactions with digital identity wallets.

Hochschule Harz is at the forefront of cybersecurity and identity management innovation, making it an ideal partner for this forward-looking initiative. By combining Lissi’s cutting-edge technology with Hochschule Harz’s expertise, we are setting the stage for a more secure and interoperable digital future in public administration.
